Travel Preperations – Part 1 – Travelling Light

I have 8 days left til I travel. I am super excited. So I awoke today thinking about the many things I have to sort out before I could settle down to watch The Voice. It then occurred to me that I hadn’t even bought my travel insurance, printed out my travel documents and bought a durable luggage bag for my upcoming trip.  Read on to find out about my exciting adventure and how I ended up with a luggage bag with a 10 year warranty.  .

World’s Lightest Suitcase

Anyway,  I don’t know about you but I always seem to end up with the luggage bags that really doesn’t last when I travel. This time I went on a shopping trip (really to the nearest MATALAN ) for a good bag that would be sure to last. That’s when I came across the IT luggage bag (which happens to be one of the world’s lightest suitcase’s). There the bag I decided to purchase in the image below;

Of course I didn’t hesitate to purchase it, especially when I noted that they also come with a 10 year warranty.

So  now  I am the proud owner of a durable bag which was only 45.00 pounds and with a 10 year warranty, that to me is a bargain.  Warranty Details

I have also manged to get my travel insurance sorted out (after a Google search for the cheapest travel insurance quote) and I’ve also manged to print out my e-ticket’s and the rest of my travel documents. I am one step closer to being ready for this trip.

Anyway, that’s all for today.  If you have any comments, leave them below.

    1. Hi Lina,

      Thanks for your comment.

      To be honest, it depends where I am going and how long I am going to spend there and whether I intend to go on a shopping spree there. On this particular trip I was travelling for 2 weeks to the states and I only filled the bag with a few clothes as I was planning to buy a lot of things whilst I was there. If I was travelling to somewhere within Europe I will consider carrying a backpack.
